What is Lucy better at?

Lucy has two variants: one for editing the content of the frame, the other for changing the style. In other words, one brand covers two different kinds of rework.

The style variant accepts the longest clip in this pair — see the length row. For a whole piece that needs to get a uniform look, that means one run.

The prompt field is enough for an instruction with several conditions.

What is HappyHorse better at?

HappyHorse works at a higher resolution than Lucy. The reworked shot comes out fit for a screen, not just for a small strip.

There is a setting for the sound: the original audio can be kept. When reworking a shot with speech, that is exactly the difference between a usable and an unusable file.

It also accepts a longer description than Lucy — for an instruction with more conditions.

Where does each of the two fall short — Lucy and HappyHorse?

Where HappyHorse falls short. It accepts a noticeably shorter clip. Long material is cut into parts, and when restyling, the parts don't come out identical — you notice this when stitching them together.

Where Lucy falls short. It works at a single resolution, and it isn't the highest. The reworked shot isn't good for a big screen. Lucy also has no setting for the original audio.

How to choose between Lucy and HappyHorse?

A long piece that will be watched in a small strip — Lucy. A short shot with speech that will be watched on a screen — HappyHorse.
